Les origines
|

||||
Tout commença dans un univers parallèle. Le professeur
|
||||
Kohart fit une découverte sensationnelle. Ce grand
|
||||
cardiologue étudiait avec précision les détails des
|
||||
électrocardiogrammes. L'analyse par une IA montra la
|
||||
présence d'un message chiffré, inscrit dans les
|
||||
pulsations elles-mêmes comme si ces dernières servaient
|
||||
de porteuse. Il fut extrêmement surpris de trouver
|
||||
ainsi des indications claires sur la fin de l'univers.
|
||||
Les astrophysiciens étaient unanimes : cet univers
|
||||
s'effondrait sur lui-même et il restait à peine un
|
||||
siècle avant la contraction finale.
|
||||
|
||||
Le professeur, faisant partie de la dernière génération,
|
||||
concentra ses efforts pour en apprendre plus sur cette
|
||||
anomalie. Il construisit des vectographes bien plus
|
||||
précis que les électrocardiographes existants. Et il
|
||||
décoda ainsi une première partie du Grand Plan, le
|
||||
programme qui régit l'ensemble des univers, de la
|
||||
matière, des êtres et du temps. Ses travaux continuèrent
|
||||
et il tenta le tout pour le tout. Un cœur est un élément
|
||||
contrôlable grâce à des électrodes bien placées. Il
|
||||
développa alors le premier rétrovectographe à base de
|
||||
nanoparticules et tenta de réécrire la fin de son
|
||||
univers. Il narra alors une toute autre vérité et
|
||||
l'injecta dans le Grand Plan. La première Narration
|
||||
Expérimentale de Réalité Vectographiée était née. Et
|
||||
son univers changea de paradigme, et partit alors en
|
||||
expansion.

La prise de conscience
|
||||

||||
|
||||
Le professeur Kohart créa alors un groupe de spécialistes
|
||||
afin de maintenir l'univers en état. L'humanité sauvée
|
||||
n'était pas pour autant dans un état honorable. La
|
||||
planète tremblait de plus en plus, et la nature se
|
||||
desséchait. Il fallait sans cesse retoucher au Grand
|
||||
Plan. L'effort était immense. Il fallait trouver un
|
||||
cœur contenant la bonne séquence, et la modifier. Au
|
||||
fil des ans, le laboratoire de recherche astrocardiaque
|
||||
s'apercevait des limites de la méthode. Premièrement,
|
||||
les séquences ne concernaient pas toutes leur univers.
|
||||
En réalité, les cœurs agissaient pour la très grande
|
||||
majorité sur des univers parallèles. Et deuxièmement, le
|
||||
Grand Plan compensait les altérations. Il y'avait
|
||||
toujours une conséquence sur une écriture.
|
||||
|
||||
Les dirigeants lancèrent une enquête afin de déterminer
|
||||
avec exactitude les conséquences de la sauvegarde de
|
||||
leur univers. La tâche fut bien plus complexe que prévu.
|
||||
Les enquêteurs durent utiliser des moyens de pointe
|
||||
pour trouver des cœurs portant trace de cette
|
||||
modification. Et pour cela, il fallait passer dans un
|
||||
autre univers. Cela prit une bonne centaine d'années.
|
||||
Le professeur Kohart, dans la fleur de l'âge avec ses
|
||||
trois siècles d'existence, reçut un choc lors de la
|
||||
conclusion. Non seulement, la survie de l'univers n'était
|
||||
pas garantie sur le long terme, mais en plus l'opération
|
||||
avait annihilé quatre univers entiers ! Cent milliards
|
||||
d'humains périrent. Pire encore, aucun univers ne
|
||||
permettait la survie de l'espèce humaine.

||||
|
||||
L'essor
|
||||

|
||||
|
||||
Le professeur Kohart changea radicalement de méthode. Le
|
||||
Grand Plan ne pouvait être changé que par petites
|
||||
touches pour éviter des conséquences désastreuses. Mais
|
||||
cela ne suffisait pas, chaque altération devait être
|
||||
minutieusement préparée et vérifiée. Les ressources
|
||||
principales étaient dévouées à la recherche
|
||||
d'informations et au calcul des incidences.
|
||||
D'autres équipes s'occupèrent de transférer les êtres
|
||||
humains en danger dans des univers plus stables. Mais
|
||||
même ces opérations étaient risquées car elles
|
||||
contrevenaient au Grand Plan.
|
||||
|
||||
Petit à petit, les dirigeants s'immiscèrent dans les
|
||||
opérations et structurèrent au mieux les activités.
|
||||
Ils établirent les grandes lignes du projet, et ils
|
||||
définirent une politique globale. Ils établirent le
|
||||
but principal : la survie de l'humanité au Grand Plan
|
||||
quel qu'en soit le prix, tant que cette survie permettait
|
||||
tout de même une vie honorable. Ils séparèrent les
|
||||
différents services pour éviter toute nouvelle
|
||||
catastrophe et commencèrent à définir les limites d'une
|
||||
altération acceptable. Ces règles sont toujours en
|
||||
vigueur aujourd'hui, si ce n'est quelques améliorations
|
||||
mineures. Une altération doit donc concerner un faible
|
||||
nombre d'êtres vivants, être limitée dans l'espace
|
||||
et ne doit pas changer la nature de l'univers.

Comprendre le Grand Plan

||||
Le Grand Plan, celui qui régit le fonctionnement du

||||
multivers, nous est accessible par le cœur de tous

||||
les êtres vivants de tous les univers. Son code est
|
||||
chiffré sous forme de signaux portés par les pulsations.

||||
|
||||
Nerv Project vectographie un maximum de cœurs afin de

Destructions d'univers

Certains paramètres du Grand Plan influent sur la

viabilité d'un ou de plusieurs univers. Une attention

particulière est portée sur les séquences de création
|
||||
et sur les compositions d'un univers. Modifier de telles

||||
séquences peut supprimer la raison d'existence d'un
|
||||
univers et, dans ce cas, ce dernier disparaît
|
||||
instantanément. Une altération du Grand Plan sur
|
||||
une séquence déjà exécutée transforme également les
|
||||
évènements passés.
|
||||
|
||||
À noter : certaines suppressions d'univers permettent
|
||||
l'amélioration ou la création d'autres univers.
|
||||
|
||||
Homéostasie d'un univers ou du multivers
|
||||

|
||||
Un univers est viable lorsque de nombreuses variables

||||
sont équilibrées. Toute altération changera l'équilibre

||||
de cet univers, cet équilibre pouvant être atteint en

une très grande période de temps. Par exemple, un univers

à entropie croissante finira obligatoirement sans énergie
|
||||
résiduelle avec une annihilation de la matière. Un tel
|
||||
univers ne pourrait être considéré comme viable, ce qui
|

nécessite soit de ne pas le sélectionner soit de le

||||
modifier.

Extinction

L'extinction de l'espèce humaine serait le pire échec

du Nerv Project. Nous prenons toutes les précautions

Le petit jardin était toujours paisible. Les humains de la maison s'en
|
||||
occupaient durant la journée. Ils désherbaient, ils coupaient, ils
|
||||
retournaient la terre et rajoutaient de nouvelles plantations. Ils volaient
|
||||
également les précieuses graines et ils empoisonnaient même certaines plantes.
|
||||
Et cela ne Lui plaisait guère.
|
||||
|
||||
|
||||
À la lune levée, quelques pierres tremblaient au fond du jardin. Elles se
|
||||
rapprochaient petit à petit les unes des autres. Deux points bleus
|
||||
supplémentaires scintillaient à la surface du petit étang, ils passaient
|
||||
inaperçus dans le reflet de la voûte céleste. Il arrivait, le petit Dieu du
|
||||
fond du jardin.
|
||||
|
||||
Les pierres tremblantes formaient un petit amas lorsqu'une pierre creuse,
|
||||
remplie d'eau, jaillissait de l'étang. Elle retombait systématiquement sur le
|
||||
petit squelette rocheux. La structure prenait vie sous forme d'un petit
|
||||
bonhomme en cailloux.
|
||||
|
||||
Ce petit Dieu avançait gauchement, se balançant de droite à gauche, déversant
|
||||
quelques gouttes de sa tête. Ses yeux brillaient comme des étoiles et il
|
||||
constatait le désastre engendré par les grands humains. Comment de telles
|
||||
créatures pouvaient à la fois détruire et le vénérer, Lui, qu'ils nommaient
|
||||
Main Verte ou encore Suzuriishi ? Et pourtant, Il n'avait rien de vert si ce
|
||||
n'est quelques plaques de vase et de lichen.
|
||||
|
||||
Le petit Dieu gagnait un promontoire de terre, surplombant l'étang. Il prenait
|
||||
alors une petite tige de la pelouse de ses doigts pierreux et commandait aux
|
||||
éléments avec sa baguette magique. Il gesticulait vivement en chavirant sa
|
||||
tête clapotante. Il dirigeait le vent et l'eau ; il formait des figures
|
||||
au-dessus de l'étendue d'eau.
|
||||
|
||||
Un dragon arrosait allègrement la terre pour la nettoyer de toutes ses
|
||||
souillures. Le petit Dieu marmonnait une incantation pour faire pousser toute
|
||||
plante et tout champignon. Il préparait les murmures du vent du jour afin de
|
||||
guider chaque être, chaque fourmi, chaque puceron. Il en appelait à la Nature
|
||||
pour protéger son territoire.
|
||||
|
||||
Le petit Dieu avait perdu toute son eau. Il s'écroulait du haut de son
|
||||
promontoire à la tombée de la lune. Les cailloux s'éparpillaient et sa tête
|
||||
rejoignait une fois de plus les profondeurs de l'étang. Une nouvelle journée
|
||||
commençait, Il était parti en laissant pour seul indice une rosée vivifiante.

Lucas, jeune étudiant, espère devenir la prochaine star

de la fête est tragique. Lucas, passager d'une voiture,

perd la vue lors d'un violent accident. Il lui faudra

réapprendre à vivre et surtout abandonner ses rêves.

Et de surcroît, l'inspectrice de police
|
||||
lui apprend qu'il a été victime non pas d'un accident
|
||||
mais d'une tentative de meurtre. Il en viendra à
|
||||
soupçonner ses propres coéquipiers !
|
||||
